Fahadh Faasil will next be seen in a film titled Aanenkilum Allenkilum which will be directed by newcomer Vivek. The film will have Fahadh playing an urbane role and will be nothing like what he has done in the past films like Maheshinte Prathikaram and Thondimuthalum Drikshakshiyum. The makers have signed on Catherine Tresa to play the leading lady in the film which is said to have a contemporary story. Catherine Tresa will be making a comeback with this film in Malayalam and was last seen in 2010 release The Thriller starring Prithviraj Sukumaran. “She plays a village belle in the film who resides in Koottickal, Kottayam. The story is completely set against a Christian backdrop,” director Vivek was quoted as saying by ToI

Aanenkilum Allenkilum kicked off as a project with Fahadh Faasil and Sunny Wayne but had to be delayed for numerous reasons, says director Vivek. “Aanenkilum Allenkilum was announced a year ago as a Fahadh-Sunny Wayne project. It was delayed as Fahadh had to grow out his beard for Trance as well as the Amal Neerad movie. He is done with the shoot of both and we are going on floors on May 7,” adds Vivek.

The director further adds that the movie will have loads of comedy and equal romance as well. “It is a complete entertainer and is shot in Bengaluru, Pondicherry and Koottickal. It is also a story about friendship and as Sunny is busy with Kayamkulam Kochunni, we have roped in Sharafudheen to play the role,” he adds further.

Besides Fahadh Faasil and Catherine Tresa, Aanenkilum Allenkilum will also Renji Panicker, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Thesni Khan and Alencier Lopez in supporting roles. The shooting of the film will go on floors from May 7th, 2018 confirmed the director and may look to release it by end of this year.
