Bahubali 2 Creates Record In China

fter a 100-day theatrical run in Japan, director SS Rajamouli's Baahubali: The Conclusion released in China on May 4. The epic drama stars Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannaah in the lead roles.

It has been just over 24 hours since the film released in China, but it is already breaking box-office records. According to reports, the second part of Baahubali has collected more on its opening day than the first part did in its entire run.Trade analyst Ramesh Bala, tweeted, "#Baahubali2InChina makes a commanding debut.. $2.85 Million [Rs 19 Crs] for Day 1.. With #China 's Day 1 (Rs 19 Crs) added, the WW Gross has gone up to Rs 1,735 Crs.. (sic)"

He further revealed that Baahubali: The Conclusion stands third, behind Secret Superstar and Hindi Medium in the list of Top 5 opening day box office collections in China. While Secret Superstar garnered US $ 6.74 million, Hindi Medium collected US $ 3.39 million on its first day in China.

Dangal made a whopping Rs 1200 crore in China alone and at this rate, Baahubali: The Conclusion could break its records if it manages to hold the audience's interest.
