Deepika Padukone attended the pre-Met Gala bash with Rita Ora

While we thought Deepika Padukone was in Cannes preparing for her dream walk on the red carpet, turns out the actress is in New York. Yes, the Padmaavat actress is currently in NYC where she’s planning to attend the Met Gala 2018. The actress was earlier clicked with her fans in the Big Apple city and last night she attended the Harry Josh Pro Tools’ 5th anniversary party with Hollywood biggies like Rita Ora. The Bollywood beauty was clicked as she left the party and posed for the shutterbugs present there. It would be for the second time when DP will attend the Met Gala after she made her debut last year.

Dressed in a casual black tank top with blue jeans and black trench coat, Deepika kept her party look extremely casual yet chic. With minimal makeup, light pink lips and hoop earrings, DP let her casual attire do all the talking. The Cocktail actress was one of the many celebrities including Teyana Taylot, writer and TV personality Janet Mock and entertainer Lizzo at the bash. Harry Josh’s party has been a sort of pre – Met Gala tradition since 2005.

While Deepika and Priyanka shared no frame on the red carpet at Met Gala 2017, we wait to see if they come together this year. And just in case they do, the picture would be worth million bucks. It’s good to see Deepika rubbing her shoulders with all the Hollywood biggies. And that makes us curious to know if the actress is planning to sign her second Hollywood movie anytime soon! If all goes well, she might sign the sequel of xXx – Return of Xander Cage with Vin Diesel that goes on floors in December this year.

Post her Met Gala attendance, Deepika will straight away head to Cannes to attend the annual Film Festival for the brand she endorses. It is expected that the actress will walk the ramp on coming Thursday and Friday ie. 10 and 11 May followed by Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut. We can’t wait to see her gorgeous outings in the French city and how effortlessly she nails them.
