Tamannaah Bhatia all set to join the shooting sets of Chiranjeevi�s Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy

We recently reported that Tamannaah Bhatia would be playing an important role in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy which features mega star Chiranjeevi in the titular role. Directed by Surender Reddy, Sye Raa is a period film and is based on the life of one of India’s first freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. And according to latest reports, Tamannaah is all set to join the shooting sets of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy which is currently being shot in Hyderabad. “She will start shooting from Thursday onwards at Rama Naidu Studios in Nanakramguda. She plays a crucial role in the film. The filmmakers selected Tamannah after watching her performance in Baahubali. In this film too, she will have an action-oriented role,” a report in Deccan Chronicle quoted a source.

Tamannaah had recently confirmed that she has signed for an important role in Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy. “Yes it’s true. I have been confirmed for the film. It’s a great honour to be sharing the screen space with two of my favourite actors — Chiranjeevi and Amitabh Bachchan. Biopics have always been a priority for me and since the film revolves around a freedom fighter, it’s a matter of national pride to contribute to this project,” Tamannaah had said.

Besides Tamannaah Bhatia, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Kichcha Sudeep and Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan in important roles. Sye Raa Narasmiha Reddy will have mega star Chiranjeevi playing the titular role which is based on one of the first freedom fighters of India in 1800s – Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. The makers are believed to have done extensive research on the freedom fighter who is said to have fought the British forces bravely and with a small contingent of army. Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is being produced by Ram Charan under the banner Konidela Productions, their second after Khaidi No 150, which was the comeback film for Chiranjeevi.
