Keerthy Suresh's Mahanati earns a whopping Rs 10 crore in US

Director Nag Ashwin's Mahanati (Nadigaiyar Thilagam in Tamil) which released worldwide on May 11, is receiving critical acclaim and raking in profits across the world.The film, starring Keerthy Suresh and Dulquer Salmaan, is a biopic on the rise and fall of legendary actress Savitri.The film has been doing extremely well in terms of collections and is expected to break several records in the coming days.

According to trade analyst Haricharan Pudipeddi, the film has collected a whopping $1.5 million (Rs 10 crore approximately) at the box office in the US.He wrote, "#Mahanati is unstoppable in US. Has officially registered $1.5 mil and counting. Purely clicked due to content. Well deserved success for Nag Ashwin, @KeerthyOfficial and the entire team. (sic)"The Mahanati team released an official poster bearing the words, "Even after 40 years, Savitramma still rules the Box Office."

The film is still going strong at the box office and has already become the sixth highest Telugu grosser of 2018.Keerthy Suresh is on cloud nine with the laurels that she has been receiving for her career-best performance. Actors Dulquer Salmaan, Samantha Akkineni and Vijay Deverakonda are seen in important roles in Mahanati.
