Sonakshi Sinha With Two Horses painting

After her recent movies tanking at the box office, Sonakshi Sinha has some really high hopes on her upcoming comedy film ‘Happy Phirr Bhag Jaeygi’. She will be starring in the sequel alongside Diana Penty who was also the female lead in the first installment of the movie.

Besides maintaining the original Jodi of Diana Penty and Jimmy Sheirgill, ‘Happy Phirr Bhag Jayegi!’ has Sonakshi Sinha and Jassi Gill as the second pairing in the film. ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’, featuring Diana Penty, Ali Fazal and Abhay Deol, was released in 2016. The romantic comedy narrated the story of a girl named Happy, who runs away from her wedding and reaches Pakistan by mistake. Diana features in the sequel too. She is joined by actress Sonakshi Sinha whose character also runs away from her wedding. Mudassar Aziz, who helmed the first part, is back on the director’s chair for the sequel.

Extremely active on social media, Sonakshi recently took to her Instagram to share a rather philanthropic post. While posing against the backdrop of a gorgeous wall art of horses, she captioned the picture as, “Saw these horses and thought to myself “wish i was as wild and free”... only to realize, i am the one who’s wild and free, while they’re stuck on a wall! #streetart #mondaymusings #shootshennanigans”

As per reports, the runway comedy is all set to hit the theatres on August 24th, 2018, with not one but two characters named Happy.
