Lavanya Tripathi locked to romance Nikhil's Mudra

Lavanya Tripathi is sure a decent performer but the results of her recent outings left her stay away from the big league. The actress has been picking up interesting roles and she is now locked to romance Nikhil in his upcoming movie titled Mudra. The action thriller has been inspired from the Tamil remake Kanithan. TN Santosh who directed the original is directing this project and the regular shoot commenced recently.

Lavanya Tripathi has been extremely impressed with the narration and signed the film immediately. While Nikhil plays a journalist, Lavanya Tripathi will be seen playing his love interest in Mudra. Though initially Catherine Tresa who played the female lead in the original has been approached, she turned down the offer as she was not in a mood to do the same role again. Tagore Madhu is producing Mudra and the film will hit the screens during the second half of this year.
