Mahanati Crossed 30 Crore Collections

Nobody estimated, not even the trade pundits after watching the movie felt the movie, Mahanati would become such a huge blockbuster.

Everyone thought the movie at best can make 20 Crores with theatrical and producer will be making more money with Satellite and Digital rights. 

Well, like how Akkineni Nageswara Rao, proved that content can do wonders in 2014 with Manam, even though the movie has Nagarjuna, Naga Chaitanya and Samantha in the lead roles, it is more popular for being a classical bow out of legendary actor of Telugu Cinema. 

Not same in tone, but taking the spirit of content being the King, forward, even legendary actress Savitri garu, delivered a big blockbuster with Mahanati. 

The movie crossed 30 crores share mark on Monday and C. Ashwini Dutt, Swapna Dutt, director Nag Ashwin are happy and elated with the success. It collected 8 crores from Nizam, 2.25 crores from UA, 1.75 crores from Ceded. From all other areas, it collected 5 crores as share. 

In USA, it is close to collecting 2.5 Million US Dollars and the movie success is a great proof that content is the King on any day.
