And here’s yet another relationship that has gone kaput. In a sudden turn of events, Kasam Tere Pyar Ki actor Ssharad Malhotra has officially called it quits with girlfriend Pooja Bisht, after being together for 2 years. Turns out they were facing huge differences since the last few months over not giving enough time to their relationship. Even their families tried to convince both of them to work things out and were hoping to see them get married one day but the couple is clear to part ways and not stretch it anymore.

In interaction with Bombay Times, Ssharad confirmed his breakup with Pooja by admitting that it’s because of him that they had to end their relationship and that he will always hold high regards for Pooja, “There were personal issues from my end. I tried to make the relationship work, but our differences were irrevocable. Pooja is a nice girl and it was great till it lasted. I wish her all the best, “quoted the actor.

Interestingly, back in November 2013, when Ssharad was asked about his marriage plans with Pooja, he had tagged himself as ‘marriage phobic’ saying, “I am a little marriage-phobic because a couple of my friends have had turbulent relationships. Mental stability is what I am looking for. So, if everything remains smooth, you might hear wedding bells next year. Marriage is about two people making a choice. For me, happiness is peace of mind, and I get that when I am content with the work I am doing. Peace and harmony in personal space are also extremely important. In my personal space, I want to be wanted — I guess after working hard the entire day, all of us would want to go to a happy relationship”

Before Pooja Bisht, Ssharad was in a serious relationship with Divyanka Tripathi until they had a ugly separation.
