'Fanne Khan': Is Aishwarya Rai Bachchan getting a pay cut?

After a hiatus of almost two years, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be seen on the big screen in Atul Manjrekar’s ‘Fanne Khan’. Along with Aishwarya, the movie will also have Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao in pivotal roles. The movie has already gone on floors with only a few portions of the shoot remaining.

However, as per latest reports, the terms of ‘Fanne Khan’ actors are apparently been looked into. After a few production changes, owing to the movie going to Bhushan Kumar’s company from KriArj Entertainment, the budget that was previously set is reportedly being revised. As per a daily, apart from the cost-cutting methods, even the cast of the film is being requested to take a pay cut.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who is the key character in the Hindi remake of ‘Everybody’s Famous’ has been requested by the makers to cut down her pay for ‘Fanne Khan’. This major decision has come after most of the movie has been shot and only two songs and a few key scenes are to be filmed. Reports are yet to be confirmed by the makers or the team of ‘Fanne Khan’.
