Priyadarshi played a serious role

When we watch some comedians we'll get a smile on our face.  Priyadarshi belongs to the same league.   His dialogue 'Naa chaavu nunu chasta neekenduku' in 'Pelli Choopulu' became so popular that everybody started using it in daily lives.   He became a busy comedian after the success of 'Pelli Choopulu'. He is continuously doing comedy roles and thoroughly entertaining the audience.

Priyadarshi recently surprised everybody by saying that he never thought of becoming a comedian.  He thought that villain roles would suit him and comedy roles will not suit him. He revealed that he acted in serious roles in the short films before he entered movies.  He said that he became a comedian unexpectedly.  

He said that he has done a few films even before 'Pelli Choopulu'.. but they are low budget films and some of them didn't even release.  He said that he has done negative roles in those films.  When he was doing those films, he thought that he would settle in the industry as a villain.  But he did a comedy role for the first time in a short film directed by his friend Darshan.. then he got the confidence that he can do comedy role.   Then Tarun Bhascker who is also his friend gave him the Kaushik role in 'Pelli Choopulu'.  He said that his career took a big turn with 'Pelli Choopulu'. 

He shared interesting details about his character in the upcoming Manchu Lakshmi film 'W/o Ram'. He said that he played a serious role in the film and there is no comedy for the character. He expressed his confidence that his role will impress the audience.
