Hot under the heels of the Mahanati's blockbuster success, Dulquer Salmaan is now one of the most-happening stars in Telugu as well. With Dulquer now expanded his base in Tamil (Ok Kanmani / Ok Bangaram) and Telugu (Mahanati) besides a strong foot hold in Malayalam, he is now the go-to the guy in South for a multi-lingual film.

The latest we hear is that a noted Telugu director Chandra Siddharth who had made promising films such as Aa Naluguru is in talks with Dulquer for a racy youthful film set against cricket betting. The script has been locked and said to have shaped well.

Interestingly, Arbaaz Khan's recent admission on cricket betting is now adding more attention of the film industry towards cricket betting which is always a hot topic. Apparently, the film to be directed by Chandra Siddharth would revolve around the dark side of the gentleman's game.

A top production house is said to be in talks with the makers to bankroll this crazy film in multiple languages, all thanks to Mahanati. More details are awaited since the talks are in nascent phase.
