Siddharth and Catherine Tresa pair up for a film to be directed by debutante Sai Sekhar

Actor Siddharth was last seen in Aval which was a horror thriller and garnered a lot of attention. The film was made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi and went on to become one of the bigger hits of 2017 in Tamil cinema. Siddharth has now started another project which will be directed by debutante Sai Sekhar. The yet untitled film will have Catherine Tresa pairing up with him and will be for the first time. The film was officially kickstarted today in Chennai and the team of the film held a pooja ceremony for the start. The music of this yet untitled film will be rendered by Thaman SS who is a dear friend of Siddharth. Actor Sathish will be seen playing a pivotal role in the film. Catherine Tresa, in Tamil, was last seen in Kalakalappu 2 which was a multi-starrer. Catherine is teaming up with Siddharth for the first time and the film is said to be a breezy romcom. On the other hand, Siddharth was seen in his own production Aval which was directed by Milind Rau. The film turned out to be a hit and impressed audiences with its screenplay. The film was well appreciated by critics for the quality of sounds and visuals used in the film. Andrea Jeremiah was seen playing the leading lady in Aval. Siddharth also made his debut in Malayalam with Kammara Sambhavam which also starred Dileep in the other lead role.

The shooting of this untitled film is set to go on floors soon and it is being speculated that the film may release in early part of 2019. More details about the film are yet to be revealed by the makers and an official announcement is expected soon.
