Anupam Kher introduces reel Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi

Stalwart Bollywood actor Anupam Kher is essaying the titular role in upcoming political drama ‘The Accidental Prime Minister’ which is said to be adapted from the popular 2014 memoir of policy analyst Sanjay Baru based on former prime minister Manmohan Singh.

The film boasts an ensemble cast in roles of various big wigs from political spectrum who were contemporaries of Manmohan Singh. Also, it will feature episodes of Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi. Anupam Kher has zeroed in two actors for these interesting roles.

Through his Twitter handle, he recently introduced Arjun Mathur and Aahana Khurana as Rahul and Priyanka respectively. Both these actors bear uncanny resemblance to Rahul and Priyanka.

Directed by debutant Vijay Gutter, the film is set for release towards the end of this year.
