Amani Opens Up On CastingCouch

Yesteryear heroine Amani is presently doing supporting roles in the films but she was a top league heroine a two decades ago.  She acted in classic s like 'Mr. Pellam' and she went onto act with star heroes like Nagarjuna, Balakrishna.   She took a long gap after her marriage and she has recently started her second innings.  Amani recently responded on the sensational casting couch issue in an interview. 

She said that she faced such situations in the initial days of her career.  She said that she used to get phone calls from new production companies asking her to visit their guest house without accompanying her mother.  She said that she used to understand their intention immediately.  She revealed that she escaped casting couch on many occasions because she is not so beautiful as she appears on the silver screen.  Though it is her modesty to say that she is not beautiful, she good fan following among the family audience.  

Amani said that she never faced casting couch trouble from reputed and senior directors. She said that once she got offers in SV Krishna Reddy, Bapu films there was no looking back for her.  She clarified that she faced casting couch issues majorly from the new producers.
