Records: Baahubali Vs Sanju

Sanju is the recently released movie in Bollywood film industry. As expected, the movie opened to positive reviews and grand openings at the box office. By the end of the first weekend, the movie surprised everyone by beating the records of Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial Padmavaat. Ranbir starrer Sanju touched the 100 crores mark in three days. After collecting 73 crores in the first two days, the movie collected 46.71 crores on Sunday.

Sanju also created a new record along with touching the 100 crore mark. The movie also created a new single-day record by crossing the existing record which is on the name of ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion,’ with 46.50 crores. Earlier, Padmaavat collected 114 crores and Salman's Race 3 collected 106.47 crores in the first weekend. Sanju surpassed all these by minting a revenue of 120.06 crores.

Informing about this massive record, Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "#Sanju creates H-I-S-T-O-R-Y... Records HIGHEST SINGLE DAY for a HINDI film... DEMOLISHES the record held by #Baahubali2 [Hindi]... #Baahubali2 had collected ? 46.50 cr on Day 3 [Sun]… #Sanju has surpassed it, collects ? 46.71 cr on Day 3 [Sun]. India biz. Boxoffice on Fire."

Raj Kumar Hirani directed the movie and produced it along with Vidhu Vinod Chopra. Anushka Sharma, Diya Mirza, Sonam Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal and others played the leads in the film.
