Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter are gearing up for the release of their Bollywood debut movie, Dhadak, which is the Hindi adaptation of the Marathi film, Sairat (2016). Janhvi and Ishaan are in the safe hands of Karan Johar, who is producing Dhadak and Shashank Khaitan, who has directed the project.Two songs from Dhadak have already been out which includes the hauntingly beautiful number, Dhadak title track and the wildly popular track Zingaat. 

Dhadak will be recreating another song from Sairat which is Yad Lagla and have renamed it, Pehli Baar.Janhvi took to Instagram to share a new still from the song which releases today. You can witness Janhvi and Ishaan's crackling chemistry in the still.

Janhvi's caption simply reads as, "Pehli baar."Talking about Pehli Baar, Shashank told DNA, "We have retained two songs from Sairat because they lent themselves beautifully to Dhadak. Pehli Baar is about that innocent first love and a young boy’s desire for a girl he can never have. Without any set choreography, it captures the moment when Ishaan meets Janhvi and gets attracted to her."

 Atul Gogavale will be crooning the track, just like the original and on this Shashank continued, "Dhadak is melodious but intense because it speaks of eternal romance, whereas Pehli Baar is like that moment of sunshine you experience when you fall in love."

Talking about Janhvi and Ishaan, Shashank gushed, "They have worked extremely hard to understand their respective characters. The way they have expressed their feelings in this song is exceptional."
