samantha akkineni to quit films in 2019

Reigning actress Samantha Akkineni is reportedly going to bid adieu to films is 2019. As per our sources, Samantha is busy wrapping up all her commitments before March next year to say goodbye to her acting career.

Post her marriage with Naga Chaitanya last year many felt that Samantha would immediately quit films to take up family affairs. But, she continued to rule the roost in South cinema with a hat trick or hits in the form of Rangasthalam, Mahanati and Irumbhu Thirai.

During media interactions after marriage , Samantha said she would continue to act if she gets strong author backed roles. However, she now seems to have decided to call it a day after completing her ongoing projects.

Samantha is presently shooting for Tamil films Seema Raja and Super Deluxe. In Telugu, she has the remake of U Turn which is on the verge of completion.
