I underestimated how angry people are: Jahnavi

Nepotism is a never-ending debate in the film industry.  The people without any background aim guns at the star kids saying that they are losing chances because of them. On the other hand, the star kids and their supporters say that getting an entry is easy but it is ultimately their hard work and talent which gives them success.

Sridevi's elder daughter Janhnvi is testing her luck in Bollywood with her debut film 'Dhadak'.  Janhvi came across a question on nepotism in her recent interaction with media.   She said that "I underestimated how angry people are. They are pissed off. But I can't judge.  Maybe I suck but give me a chance".

She continued "I understand that you feel like you have been robbed of an opportunity that has been handed to me.  I'm sure there are more talented and good-looking people than me.  But I'm not going to pass on this opportunity.  Why the hell should I give it up?"

Janhvi's debut film 'Dhadak' is slated for the release on July 20, 2018.  Shahid Kapoor's stepbrother Ishaan Khattar is the hero of 'Dhadak'.
