Samantha opens up on RRR rumours

Its quite in question if Samantha Akkineni has been roped in to play the female lead in maverick director SS Rajamouli’s next directorial venture. The mega-budget film has been a talk of the town ever since it has been announced as it will see Jr NTR and Ram Charan Teja playing the lead roles. Well, recently reports were doing rounds that Samantha has rejected an offer in SS Rajamouli’s RRR. However, it is being said that the actress has not been approached yet.

In a report by News Minute, the actress has not been approached for the role and that if she would have been approached, Samantha had immediately grabbed it. Well, looks like Samantha Akkineni’s denial to be a part of the multi-starrer project had been termed as baseless.

Meanwhile, recent reports were doing rounds that Samantha might quit acting. Rumours were rife that actress Samantha Akkineni is planning to quit films from next year and is wrapping her projects before March 2019. However, those turned out to be rumours.

Talking about RRR, the film will see Jr NTR and Ram Charan playing the role of brothers in the film. Reportedly, Jr NTR will be seen as an elder in the role of a gangster and Ram Charan will be seen as Younger in the role of Police officer. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding the same. SS Rajamouli along with his father KV Vijayendra Prasad is currently working on the project.

In the meantime, Ram Charan Teja and Jr NTR are busy with their respective projects.

Jr NTR is currently gearing up for his upcoming film with Trivikram Srinivas which is currently being shot in Hyderabad. The film is yet to be titled and is being bankrolled by Haarika and Haasine Creations. Jr NTR is sweating it out very hard in the gym to get into the shape for his role in the film and is being trained by celebrity trainer Lloyd Stevens who has trained the likes of Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor and many other Bollywood celebrities.
