Shilpa Shetty's table cloth-inspired dress has left us disappointed

There will hardly be any fashion enthusiast in the country who will not be a fan of Shilpa Shetty’s effective sartorial sense. The Bollywood actress pulls off an array of styles with ease and doesn’t shy away from experimentation as well. On top of that, her svelte figure only adds to her glamour quotient. However, her recent fashion statement left us asking for more, and quite frankly, disappointed.Shilpa was spotted exiting a restaurant after a meal with husband Raj Kundra and son Viaan. For the casual lunch, the actress opted for an anti-fit multi-colour plaid dress.

The knee-length number stood nowhere as compared to Shilpa’s usual style choices and the actress failed to make a mark. The otherwise fashion-forward Shilpa, we feel, failed to judge how good or average the outfit was looking.However, we are sure it was just one of those days when you don’t pay too much attention to what you’re wearing. After all, Shilpa is known for uptown glamour and her sense of style, which is quite varied.  In fact, just recently she blew our mind away as she walked for Amit Aggarwal’s India Couture Week show as the showstopper. The Bollywood actress experimental and unconventional sari in different shades of plum was all sorts of wow.

Shilpa carried it off with ease and looked nothing less than a diva. Speaking about Shilpa's look, designer Amit had said, “What we've done for Shilpa is a beautiful plum and the entire outfit is beaded with very dark colours, almost like a million colours that are a part of the entire collection. The silhouette to is a beautiful cross between a saree and a lehenga. Something a modern bride can easily adapt too."
