Akshay Kumar and Mouni Roy make heads turn at Gold's promotions in the city

Akshay Kumar and Mouni Roy are all set to pair up for the first time in Gold. The actors are gearing up for the release of the film and are leaving no stone unturned in promoting the same.Today, Akshay and Mouni were clicked during the promotions of Gold. In the photos, we can see that Akshay has suited up in style wearing a light blue shirt and suit with a printed tie and black shoes. On the other hand, Mouni looked pretty in a grey and cobalt blue coloured simple lehenga. She teamed it up with a pair of silver heavy jhumkas and styled her hair in a beach wavy style. 

Akshay and Mouni posed happily for the shutterbugs present there.Meanwhile, talking about Gold, the film is based on the first ever hockey Gold medal India won at Olympics post Independence era. The film is directed by Reema Kagti and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani under their home banner Excel Entertainment. 

 The film also stars  Kunal Kapoor, Vineet Kumar Singh, Amit Sadh, Sunny Kaushal in pivotal roles. This is Mouni's debut film in Bollywood and she is playing the role of Akshay's wife. Talking about Akshay, he will be seen as a Bengali man named Tapan Das, who becomes India's hockey coach

Gold is slated to release on Independence Day this year that is, August 15, 2018. It will be clashing with Manoj Bajpayee and John Abraham's Satyamev Jayate.
