Priyanka Chopra shares a heartfelt note as Quantico airs its last episode

Priyanka Chopra became the first Indian to headline an American network television series with her show Quantico. She received numerous accolades for her character Alex Parrish, an FBI agent, on the show. Quantico expands over three seasons, and the last episode of the third season was aired on Friday. The first season was quite successful, however, the second one failed to retain the magic, and with the third season, things only got worse. 

Priyanka shared a heartfelt note on her Instagram handle about the season finale, and to her character Alex Parrish. She wrote, "As the season ends, I am saying goodbye to Alex Parrish. As you’ll see, her story will come full circle...and that is the best feeling as an actor. Bringing Alex to life has challenged me physically and emotionally, but even more significant it has (I hope) cracked the door open for female talent and women of color to play leading ladies. Thank you for opening your homes and hearts to me every week! Thank you to the cast and crew of #Quantico for being such an amazing team to work with, for all the memories that I will cherish...memories of laughter, of learning new things, of making friends for life. It was a pleasure working with each and every one of you, and I look forward to crossing paths again!"

On the work front, Priyanka, who was all set to star in Salman Khan's Bharat, which was like a Bollywood comeback for her, walked out of the film at the 'Nick of time'. Her quitting the film at the last minute raised rumours of wedding with American boyfriend Nick Jonas. It was also reported that Priyanka and Nick got engaged in London on her birthday on July 18. 

 Even though the couple has not confirmed anything yet, Priyanka's close friend Kangana Ranaut said at a recent event that she congratulated Priyanka for her engagement, and the latter seemed very 'happy and excited', thereby confirming the engagement.  

If reports are to be believed, Priyanka and Nick will tie the knot on September 16, which also happens to be Nick's birthday.
