Brad Pitt hits back at Angelina Jolie over her claim that the former failed to support their children

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's legal case over the custody of their children have been the hottest topic of discussion for quite some time now. After Angelina claimed that Pitt failed to support their children, Brad has reacted to the allegations through his legal team. According to a report in BBC, in a court filing, the star's legal team said that Brad has paid more than $1.3m (£1m) in costs and loaned $8m to Angelina to help her buy a house.

 This reply was in response to the allegations leveled by Jolie's lawyer who said "no meaningful child support" ever since she filed for divorce in 2016. Brad and Angelina aka Brangelina had been together since 2005. They got married in 2014. Pitt's lawyers have also said that Jolie's claim was a "thinly-veiled effort to manipulate media coverage." Jolie's team is yet to revert on this rebuttal by Brad. Meanwhile, Brad and Angelina have six kids, Maddox, 17, Pax, 14, Zahara, 13, Shiloh, 12, and twins Knox and Vivienne, 10.

 Following Jolie's reaction, Brad was spotted having back to back meetings with his legal team post which a detailed response was issued. An eye-witness was quoted saying that Brad looked very tense and it was as if the weight of the world was on his mind.

 Meanwhile, Angelina's spokesperson shared that the reason for the court filing by the actress was to "provide closure to the marriage in a way that clears a path toward the next stage of their lives and allows her and Brad to recommit as devoted co-parents to their children."
