Samantha is playing the role of a journalist in U Turn, a Tamil-Telugu bilingual directed by Pawan Kumar. The film is the remake of a Kannada thriller with the same title, which was also helmed by Pawan Kumar. In the first look, Samantha has a bloodied face and has an intense expression on her face.
