Reports say Shah Rukh Khan has donated Rs 21 lakh (Dh110,000), while Jacqueline Fernandez has given Rs 5 lakh (Dh26,279) to relief efforts.
Stars have taken to social media to try and encourage fans to contribute to the fund.Filmmaker Priyadarshan tweeted about handing over a cheque consisting of donations he and actor Akshay Kumar made to the Kerala Chief Minister's Distress Relief Fund
