Naga Shourya’s At Narthanasala released today with USA premiers. After Chalo, under the same banner Shourya did this film with a concept of “Transgender’.Let’s see how things worked for him.

Story: Naga Shourya’s parents raise him as a girl child citing his grandfather’s wish. He grew up watching ladies issues that were in and around society and develops a soft corner for them.

Things take a turn when love story happens to him with Kashmira. But his parent’s misunderstandings leads him into problems with Yamini, who happens to be JP’s daughter, a noted figure in society. In order to skip this marriage, he tells them that he is gay.

How carries this lie and how he wons his love with Kashmira forms rest of the routine proceedings.

Analysis: @Narthanasala doesn’t offer anything new. It goes on a routine track like Chalo where hero’s characterization backdrop with few fun moments. Later it tests audiences patience with “Ready”,”Kandireega” formulas.

A neat and healthy comedy like Chalo would have worked made this movie decent. But that fun element too didn’t work much in this.

Naga Shourya looked a little hefty and did another cakewalk role. His antics like a gay didn’t evoke laughs much.

Kashmira looked cute. Yamini filled the Hot space. Both of them got very limited roles which offer minimum to none acting skills.

Sivaji Raja, Priya, JP, Ajay filled the screen. Music by Mahati was good in melody “Egiriney”.Ira Creations banner’s production values were good.

Srinivas Chakravarthy’s writing and direction went clueless and outdated.

On the final note., @Narthanasala remained as an unsatisfactory product. Watch it if it is enough to watch Naga Shorya on screen.

Bottom Line: It’s A Pale Comedy!!
