Deepika Padukone is one Bollywood actress who has notched up her acting ability with every on-screen performance. The 'Padmaavat' actress has gone on to become one of the most sought-after actresses in recent times and has a million fans drooling over her drop dead gorgeous looks and infectious smile. And if you haven’t been mesmerised with the actress’ scintillating looks yet, her latest picture on a magazine cover will do the job just fine.

She recently graced the cover of Elle magazine’s September edition. The magazine took to social media to share the actress’ picture with an excerpt from her interview. Talking about how she got into the industry, Deepika told the magazine that theirs wasn't a family that watched too many films. Her father was an athlete and their childhood was all about cycling and playing. But she strangely remembers that every time she watched a film, she felt like she would be doing this, in spite of knowing she had no connect with the world of cinema.

The actress is seen wearing a beige off-shoulder dress with statement earrings on the cover. The magazine also shared another picture of the actress in a shimmery black attire and captioned it, “National-level badminton player, award-winning performer, mental health campaigner and international style icon @deepikapadukone is exactly where she wants to be — right on track for global domination. Read more in our #SeptemberIssue. On stands September 6.”

Deepika’s retro look in both the pictures is rather breath-taking with the thick winged eyeliner look adding to her spellbinding, magnetic eyes. And naturally, like all of us, her rumoured boyfriend Ranveer Singh too was floored by Deepika’s beauty. The actor commented on the picture saying, “Queen” and we couldn’t agree more.

On the work front, Ranveer wrapped up the shoot for Zoya Akhtar's 'Gully Boy' co-starring Alia Bhatt in April. The film is slated for a release on February 14, 2019. The actor will also be seen in the Rohit Shetty directorial 'Simmba' which also stars Sara Ali Khan. While Deepika, who was last seen in 'Padmaavat' is currently on a break after her film with Irrfan Khan was postponed due to the actor's ill health.
