Kriti Verma and Roshmi get to be the first captain of the season

The showdown for first captaincy begins and the couples in the house defend themselves against the couple. Housemates are divided into two groups - couples and singles - and each group had to nominate their candidature. Saba and Somi, Dipika, Karanvir, Anup Jalota and Jasleen have a discussion about this. Romil says that he feels that few housemates may not oblige to do tasks because they may not like a specific couple. Deepak feels it is about him and defends, but is convinced by the rest that it is generic. While Saba is talking to Sourbh, Shivashish is whispering to Somi about the captaincy drawing their attention.

The first captaincy vote comes up and Dipika gets nominated by Sreesanth's group while Deepak's group pick Kriti and Roshmi. But Saba and Somi disagree with the couple group's nomination. And Bigg Boss gives them more time to decide and pick. The couples group go on a group discussion. Kriti and Roshmi say that they would want to give it to Saba and Somi. But the second round of nomination goes to Kriti and Roshmi. Saba and Somi seem a but unhappy. Bigg Boss reveals that a task will decide the captain of the house.

Romil reads out the task details which has Anup playing a King and would be entertained by the nominees. Dipika and Kriti and Roshmi do their best to make King Anup happy. The end of task results push the weight towards Kriti and Roshmi who eventually turn out to be the first captain of Bigg Boss 12.

With the nomination sword hanging on few necks, housemates were in for some fun  moments on day 4 of Bigg Boss 12.Anup Jalota is at the helm of things and the task assigned by Bigg Boss makes him sing a song which one probably wouldn't have imagined in his voice - Sunny Leone's Baby Doll. The task also had Dipika dancing to Rekha's yesteryear hit Dil Cheez Kya Hain while Anup Jalota too shook a bit for the song he sang.

On the drama side, Dipika and Srishty indulge in some gossiping and opine that everyone is happy with cooking but noone wishes to do the cleanup job. Neha Pendse stands as an audience to this conversation but doesn't voice out - strategy maybe. Jodis Shivashish Mishra and Sorabh Patel, Saba and Somi and single lady Srishty Rode have joined Dipika, Kriti and Roshmi in the eviction race.
