Tollywood senior actor Vizag Prasad passed away

Senior character artiste Vizag Prasad is no more. He breathed his last due to a heart attack while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Hyderabad in the wee hours of Sunday. Prasad (75) had been suffering from age-related illness for the last few days.Vizag Prasad's real name is Korlam Parvathi Varaprasada Rao. He hailed from Gopalapatnam in Vizag, and that's how he got his screen name as Vizag Prasad. He made his acting debut with the 1983 film 'Babai Abbai'.

In his career spanning nearly 3 and a half decades, Vizag Prasad acted in over 175 movies. He was popular for his roles in Teja's Nuvvu Nenu, Jai Chiranjeeva, Bhadra, Sundarakanda and Gemini etc. The film fraternity and Movie Artiste's Association (MAA) expressed grief over Vizag Prasad's passing away.
