Kathanayakudu film grossed half million dollars in USA

The first part of much-awaited NTR biopic titled as 'NTR Kathanayakudu' has finally got released. As expected, the film opened to a positive response from the audience in overseas and Telugu states.

However, the trade expected a huge opening in overseas but the film managed to get only average collections from premiers on Tuesday. As per the latest reports, the film grossed half million dollars with its premiers and became the best opener for both Balakrishna and Krish by surpassing their previous highest 'Gauthamiputra Satakarni'. But, it is just an average start as the trade analysts predicted a massive start because of the strong buzz among the audience. The film should perform well till the weekend to reach the break-even point in overseas.

Directed by Krish, this Balakrishna starrer also features Vidya Balan, Kalyan Ram, etc in the vital roles. Let's see how the movie is going to perform and the holiday season might help the flick.
