I'm not proud of my fairness cream ads : Shirya Saran

Shriya Saran, the evergreen beauty of Telugu Cinema who refuses to go out of work ever and even if she slows down, with a film, she can come back into reckoning like never before. She proved it with Manam and she is one of the most sought after actresses for senior hero films. The actress in her early career did many Fairness cream ads and today, she staunchly expressing her displeasure towards the kind of message they are sending. 

Many Fairness cream these days come up with concepts like, a young man looking completely black gets a girl once he puts on the cream. Same boy can get a job too by just applying the cream. And the ads for girls, don't even get us started. Many try to portray them as attractive only after applying the cream and try to come up with some scientific evidence to their claims. Many doctors and even human rights activists commented on them being ridiculous and sending out a wrong message to youth. 

Shriya also joined them, in a recent press meet she said, " Yes, I did act in such ads earlier and the questions you ask are right from your perspective but giving such a message to the youth is not right and I am against it completely." Well doesn't it look like a classic case of I hate it when I don't have it? Anyways, Shriya is busy shooting for Puri Jagannath's film with Balakrishna.
