Divya Dutta feels uncomfortable in doing negative roles

Hyderbad Feb 17 : Actress Divya Dutta has been a part of the film industry from past 23 years. She has been seen playing vivid roles.Next, she will essay the role of an antagonist in an upcoming film ‘Irada’. However, she says that she isn’t comfortable doing negative roles.


Dutta says, "I was not at all comfortable doing a negative role. But I had a lot of fun playing the character. I have not played the role of antagonist often, so this time I had a chance to dig my teeth deep into the character.” "The real fun about playing such roles is that they are very layered. So, I get to play a lot on the text and subtext of the character. I hope I have justified myself as an actor in this role," Divya further added.


‘Irada’ is a forthcoming eco-thriller feature film which will feature Diwakar Kumar, Rumana Molla, Naseeruddin Shah, Arshad Warsi, Sharad Kelkar and Sagarika Ghatge in lead roles. Scheduled to release on February 17, 2017, the flick is about a mysterious bomb blast in a businessman's factory. Basically, the film wants to raise contemporary ecological issue with lot of thrill.Divya praised her co-star Arshad Warsi. She says, "He is one of the most nuanced actors we have today and I had a blast shooting with him." Directed by Aparnaa Singh, ‘Irada’ is bankrolled by Falguni Patel and Prince Soni.This is Prince Sony’s first film along with Falguni Patel.
