Shruthi took to Twitter to share her excitement for 'Sangamithra'

Even though Shruthi faced brickbats from the critics for her appearance in Pawan's 'Katama Rayudu',  she is not that disappointed.  She is moving on to other projects.  She is excited to be part of director Sundar's most expensive film 'Sangamithra'.  It will be officially launched in the 70th Cannes Film Film Festival. 

Shruthi took to Twitter to share her excitement for 'Sangamithra'. She tweeted that "Last day in LA but super excited to head to Cannes for 'Sangamitra'!"  Shruthi is playing the titular role in the film.  Jayam Ravi and Arya are the male leads in the film.  AR Rahman is scoring music.  This magnum opus will be bankrolled by Sri Thenandal Films. This film is going to be a trilingual. 

The team of Sangamithra will walk the red carpet o the night of May 17.  On the other hand, there is a talk going on in Kollywood media that this is one of the most expensive films in the Indian history.. more costlier than 'Baahubali' &  '2.o'.
