Mahesh24 is aiming for Sankranthi 2018 slot

The regular shooting of superstar Mahesh Babu's highly anticipated film in the direction of Koratala Siva went on floors today. The film's working title is 'Bharat Ane Nenu' but as it is not yet officially announced, the film is currently being referred as #Mahesh24.Twitter handle of film's production house DVV Entertainments has confirmed that the regular shoot commenced today. As #Mahesh24 is aiming for Sankranthi 2018 slot, the competition will be huge this time.

Bollywood actress Kiara Adavni has been roped in to play Mahesh's love interest. She will reportedly be seen essaying the character of a journalist. Mahesh will essay the role of an NRI whose fate makes him the CM. Touted to be a complete commercial entertainer with an underlying social message, this film is Koratala's second collaboration with Mahesh after their earlier blockbuster 'Srimanthudu'. Devi Sri Prasad will score music whereas cinematography is by renowned technician Ravi K Chandran.
