Los Angeles, May 28: Former Direction star Zayn Malik expressed regret that "I will never live" with a duet with singer Taylor Swift. According to one source, Malik had to work with Swift in the "Fifty Shades of Darker" soundtrack, which was released early this year and was instantly hit, reports Radarlineline. "Zayn liked the song well and wanted to be herself. She was disappointed to record as a solo song and felt like a real career boost." 
"It is all the high notes he has approached and perfect, but the film officials said it wanted cooperation and he wanted Taylor to work," the source added. Swift Zayn suggested that it was "relative" because Swift was one of the biggest pop stars and his friend Gigi Hadid's best friend. "It was a surprise to everyone. It's not as if they're really great friends and they didn't even appear in scenes together in the video," the source said. Despite the success of the song, the decision to collaborate with Swift is still haunting Zayn.
