Ramya Krishna is my best friend Says Madhoo Shah

Madhoo Shah (Madhoobala Raghunath) who is best remembered for her portrayals in Mani Ratnam's Roja, Sangeeth Sivan's Yodhaand S. Shankar's Gentleman, and she was last seen in Telugu movie 'Nannaku Prematho' starring young tiger Jr.NTR, is all set to make her debut on television with the big-budget fantasy drama, 'Aarambh', written by KV Vijayendra Prasad, the father of SS Rajamouli, who penned the story-line for Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Baahubali.

After signing Rajniesh Duggall, Tanuja and southern starlet Karthika Nair, the makers have now brought the beautiful and talented Madhoo on the  board for the weekend series Aarambh which is all about the story of the clash between the Dravidans and Aryans. The historical based fantasy drama will be launched on 24 June at the 9 pm slot.

The sources say that Madhoo’s role in this series has been inspired by Shivagami (Ramya Krishna) of Baahubali.  Madhoo said, “ Yes, it is a dynamic role and I will be essaying queen who takes control over her  Kingdom. Ramya Krishna is my best friend and I am happy that  I got the opportunity to play the similar character on TV.

Aarambh, the fantasy series is directed by acclaimed filmmaker Goldie Behl and produced by Rose Audio Visuals.
