Bharata Natyam Dancer Shobana is finally getting ready to enter wedlock

Hyderabad June 16 : According to the latest buzz in film circles, veteran actress Shobana is finally getting ready to enter wedlock. As per widely speculated reports, Shobana will marry a family friend. Even though there isn't any official confirmation about her marriage either from her or her family, the actress has not quashed these reports either.

After foraying into films in 1984, Shobana went on to act in around 200 films and became a prominent South actress. She is often credited for her exceptional dancing skills, lively expressions and charismatic beauty. 

Taking forward her first romance with dance, Shonaba has been running a dance school in Chennai. She has been taking part in several stage shows and dance festivals all over the world. The 47-year-old danseuse-turned-actress has remained single all these years and continued her love affair with classical dance. Shobana was awarded a Padma Shri for her contribution to dance in the year 2006.She has been very choosy about films and was last seen on silver screen in 2013. For the unknown, Shobana adopted a a girl child in the year 2001 and named her Anantha Narayani.
