Sonam Kapoor�s travel beauty hacks revealed

Bollywood style diva Sonam Kapoor awed us at the Cannes Film Festival this year just like her previous appearances. Though we all know that the fashionista has always been one of the few actresses in the film industry to experiment with her style, the credit for her looks goes to Sonam’s sister and her stylist Rhea who planned and prepared for all her red carpet looks. We loved the outfits that she carried with poise on the red carpet, but we were also blown away by her flawless skin and hair. In her Vogue interview, Sonam credits her multi-tasking beauty routine and her in-flight skincare routine for her gorgeous-looking skin. Read on to know about Sonam’s travel beauty hacks. 

Sonam Kapoor prefers to read during her flight, if not that, then she catches up on her sleep, which makes her look well-rested once she lands. She also drinks enough water to keep her skin hydrated.  When it comes to makeup, she avoids wearing makeup while she is traveling and uses BB cream instead.

There is lack of humidity in the cabin air, also the high altitude means that the blood flow is low, which can easily result in dull skin. To keep her skin moisturized, Sonam uses a light moisturizing day cream or a serum along with lip balm. This keeps both her face and lips moisturized. The actress also dabs some under eye-cream in case she does not get enough time to sleep during the flight. The eye-cream keeps the area around the eyes bright and fresh.

Another beauty hack that she tries to brighten her face is using two different face masks at a time, on different areas of her face to target different concerns. Sonam swears by the Pure Clay Masks by L’Oréal Paris  for her skin. For a complete skin detox she uses L’Oréal Paris mattifying eucalyptus clay face mask on the T-zone (forehead, nose and chin) to target the oily area. The product works on clogged pores and also gets rid of excess oil. For the rest of the face, Sonam uses the  L’Oréal Paris clay mask enhanced with red algae to brighten and exfoliate it.
