Akshara haasan changed her religion

Hyderabad July 27 : Akshara Haasan, the second daughter of legendary actor Kamal Haasan, and sister of Shruti Haasan, started her filmy career with Bollywood film 'Shamitabh' starring Amitabh Bachchan and Dhanush, and she will be next seen in Tamil film ‘Vivegam’ starring Ajith Kumar and Kajal Aggarwal. Recently she attended the media in Chennai as a part of promotional activities  and opened up about religion and future plans.


Akshara has recently converted as a Buddhist. When quizzed about conversion to Buddhism, she  replied, “ Just alike My Sister, I am an atheist. But, I'm embracing buddhism out interest”.


When she was asked about her interest in films, she said, “As my mom, dad and sister are  into the films, I  would love to make a movie with all of them.” She added after proving my mettle as a director,  I would obtain the call sheets of  my parents Kamal Haasan , Sarika and sister Shruti.
