The second poster of Secret Superstar is out

Hyderabad August 02 : The second poster of Secret Superstar is out and this time, music lover Zaira Wasim looks upto her mentor, Aamir Khan! For all those unaware, the film plot revolves around Zaira, who plays a school girl and music enthusiast. She wants to make her career in singing. However, her parents aren’t supportive one bit. Hence, she starts this secret life as an internet sensation, courtesy her phenomenal talent. So while the Dangal girl is the lead protagonist here, Aamir plays her mentor. We must tell you that he is quite an unusual mentor for he is creepy, weird and very flashy. The first poster was released on Monday which had but only Zaira on it. Considering how the film is about her journey as a secret superstar, Khan ensured that the first poster too, glorifies the same. The second one though, has the actor in the background.

Of course, this poster too spells melodious tunes as Zaira tugs onto her guitar, looking up with passion and hope. Aamir’s look in the background is the same one that got leaked earlier this year. He’s sporting a rockstar-ish appearance with kitschy glasses and spike-styled hair.  Not the ideal kind of rockstar you’d want to idolise but we’re really curious to see his contribution to the plot. From what we saw in the teaser, we infer that Zaira’s parents forbid her to go in the path of music. However, Aamir as a rockstar, has discovered her talent, thanks to her anonymous channel on social media. Check out the second poster below.

The trailer of the film will be releasing today. Although it was supposed to release at 11 am but due to certain reasons, it has been postponed to evening. The actor tweeted the same, confirming the time, “Hey guys, the Secret Superstar trailer will be out at 6.30/45 pm today. Here is the poster of the film. Love. a.” Secret Superstar will be clashing with Ajay Devgn’s Golmaal 4 this October. It’ll be interesting to see them battle at the box office. Considering how both the films are for all kinds of audience, it would be tricky to choose from between the two. Stay tuned to this space as we’ll bring the trailer for you!
