Shriya Saran says that Balakrishna is her �lucky charm�

The lovely Shriya Saran will soon be seen alongside superstar Balakrishna in the eagerly-awaited ‘Paisa Vasool’. And, needless to say, she is quite excited about the same. During a recent chat with a leading daily, the actress opened up about her role in the film and said that she will be playing journalist. She went on to add that her character is quite well fleshed out and has a nice backstory.“I look to reinvent myself through interesting roles and scripts. I play a journo and my character also has a backstory to it… like how she meets Balakrishna,” she added.

Moreover, while talking about her equation with NBK, she said that she considers him to be her lucky charm.“It’s unfair to say that I’m a lucky charm for someone who has done more than 100 films. He is my lucky charm!” she said.Well, that is quite a sweet remark and we are sure that NBK will be touched by it. In case you did not know, ‘Paisa Vasool’ is touted to be an action-entertainer and has been directed by Puri Jagannadh. If all goes as planned, it will hit screens in September.

Interestingly, Shriya and NBK had previously collaborated for ‘Gautamiputra Satakarni’. A historical drama, it was directed by Krish and hit screens earlier this year.
