VIP 2 Telugu version new release date

Hyderabad AUGUST   : The Tamil version of VIP 2 (Velaiilla Pattadhari 2), a sequel to Dhanush’s super hit action drama, VIP, was released on 11th August and  grossed over Rs 25 Cr in its opening weekend.  As per latest updates the makers are planning to release the Telugu version of  VIP 2. Earlier it was supposed to hit the theaters on 18th August but now the film will arrive at the theaters on 25th August.  The Telugu version of VIP has received ‘U’ certificate by the members of regional censor board.

Directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth, jointly produced by Dhanush and Kalaipuli S Tahanu,  the film which is touted to be an action entertainer also marks the comeback of Bollywood actress Kajol, who made her debut in Kollywood in 1997 through 'Minasara Kanavu' with Prabhu Deva and Aravind Swami. Kajol will be seen playing the role of a stylish entrepreneur in the film which also has Amala Paul in one of the lead roles.
