PiaBajpai makes a bold decision

It is believed that women are quite possessive about their hair. But our Indian actresses are proving to be otherwise.  Model and actress Pia Bajpai, who appears primarily in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films along with a few in Hindi and English, tonsures her head for  the upcoming movie 'Abhiyum Anuvum'. The film marks the return of popular cinematographer BR Vijayalakshmi to direction and Mollywood sensation Tovino Thomas’s debut in Tamil. Recently horror queen Poorna alias Shamna Kasim gave up her beautiful hairs for crucial scenes in Muthaiah-directed Kodi Veeran in which Sasikumar is playing the lead role and now it is the turn of Pia Bajpayi.   

Touted to be a bold film with a quirky concept, Pia Bajpapi has shaved her lovely tresses for an important scene. It is a bilingual film based on a real life love story and extensively shot in Chennai and Kerala. Recently Jayam Ravi unveiled the teaser of the film which has tagline ‘A fearless love story’. The movie is all about a romantic ride with interesting twists and turns. Tovino Thomas and Pia Bajpai are playing young lovers. Prabhu, Suhasini, and Rohini will be seen playing crucial role in the film. The pretty actress has posted the picture on her Twitter handle and has been getting praise for her bold move. The film is scheduled to  hit the theaters on 22nd September.According to reports, Vijayalakshmi has drafted the story of Abhiyum Anuvum based on real life incidents that unfolded in Brazil. The film will release in Malayalam as Abhiyude Kadha Anuvinteyum.
