It’s a time for celebrations, joy, family, and prayer. Ganesh Chaturthi, also known as Vinayaka Chaturthi or Vinayaka Chavithi, is a popular festival celebrated in honour of the elephant-headed God, Ganesha.  The familiar chants and the surrounding festivities along with the food and fun are part and parcel of the Ganesha festival apart from the prayers and pujas. On the occasion of Ganesh Chavithi, Megastar Family including  Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan and Upasana performed the pooja.

The festival ends with the ‘Ganesh Visarjan’ where the idols are immersed in the water.  Here is the Ganesh Visarjan event picture of Ram Charan  which he posted on his  Mircoblogging page and captioned it, “Bye bye #Ganesha, pls bless & fulfil everyone's dreams- specially those with a clear conscience who want to spread positivity & happiness, feeling energised.” Coming on the photograph,  Ram Charan is seen wearing black lungi in his beard avatar whereas his wife Upasana is looking very cool and calm in white outfit. The lovely couple of Tollywood- Mr. and Mrs. Ram Charan are seen holding the clay idol of Lord Ganesh. Depicting the need of Eco- friendly Ganesh Chavithi, Ram Charan used the clay idol.

On the workside, currently Ram Charan is shooting for upcoming film ‘Rangasthalam 1985’,  in the direction of Sukumar, based on rural backdrop. Apart from Charan, the film has other stars like Samantha Ruth Pabhu, Aadhi Pinisetty, Jagapathi Babu, Rambha, Anasuya Bhardwaj and Rambha. It is being produced by Mythri Movie Makers and   the film has the music by Devi Sri Prasad. Ram Charan is also producing Chiranjeevi’s Sye RaaNarasimha Reddy in which Nayantara is playing the female lead and it is going to be helmed by Dhruva  fame Surender Reddy.
