Mahesh Babu to romance Ileana D�Cruz

Superstar Mahesh Babu is all set to woo Goan beauty Ileana D'Cruz in his upcoming big ticket untitled film, which will be  helmed by Vamsi Paidipally and jointly bankrolled by Dil Raju and Ashwini Dutt.   It is said to be bilingual. Vamsi Paidipally says that his upcoming project with Mahesh Babu is going to be a big one, for both of them. The project marks Paidipally’s first collaboration with Mahesh.  Ileana is a well known face for Telugu as well as Hindi audiences. Earlier both Mahesh and Ileana have worked  together  for  blockbuster film ‘Pokiri’ which shattered box office records. Now the makers want to repeat  the sensation so they are planning to bring Ileana on the board to play the love interest of Mahesh.

After a long hiatus, Mahesh Babu  will be romancing the actress who is now popular in Bollywood  post ‘Barfi’ and shared screen space with reigning  stars like Akshay Kumar (2.0 Villain) and Ajay Devgn but now planning to return to T-town with a multi-bucks extravaganza.The sources close to Ileana say that the actress is planning to make her comeback in Tollywood.   Recently the producers of Mahesh’s 25 contacted Ileana and discussed about the project.  The excited actress has given her verbal consent but did not yet sign the deal.  Being a landmark for Mahesh, the producers are leaving no stone unturned to stitch up a crazy combination. 

Paidipally earned critical acclaim for his last film, Oopiri, starring Akineni Nagarjuna, Karthi and Tamannah Bhatia, a slice-of-life drama which explores the relationship between a quadriplegic millionaire and his convict-turned-caretaker. When he was asked about Mahesh film, he said, “It’s too early to talk about the film.”

Tipped to be a romantic thriller, the upcoming film  will showcase the mushy side of the matinee idol. 'The movie will offer a different take on life and Mahesh's role in the movie will be a delight for the fans,' say sources. Devi Sri Prasad has been roped in compose the music, while PS Vinod will crank the camera.

 Jalsa actress  was last seen in "Baadshaho" starring Ajay Devgn,  Emraan Hashmi, Vidyut Jammwal, Esha Gupta Sharad Kelkar, and Sanjay Mishra, which was released yesterday and received positive response from everywhere. On the otherside, currently Mahesh Babu is busy in bilingual spy thriller drama ‘Spyder’,  in the direction of AR Mrugadoss, which is scheduled to hit the theaters on 27th September. The film starring Rakul Preet Singh, Bharat, SJ Suryah, Dheepa Ramanujam, RJ Balaji and Pelli Choopulu fame Priyadarshi. It has the music by Harris Jairaj. After wrapping  the song shoot in Romania, Mahesh will join the set of Koratala Siva’a Bharath Ane Nenu, in  which  Bollywood beauty MS Dhoni:The Untold story fame Kaira Advani is playing the female lead.

Spyder will compete with Jr.NTR’s Jai Lava Kusa, directed by KS Ravindra alias Bobby and produced by Nandamuri Kalyanram, which is arriving at the theaters on 21st September.
