Sonarika Bhadoria is known for her portrayal of Goddess Parvati and Adi Shakti in Devon Ke Dev...Mahadev. She has also acted in few Telugu movies like Jadoogadu, Speedunnodu and Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam. The actress, who tasted success with Mahadev, is now making her comeback to TV with Prithvi Vallabh after four years.

After the success of SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali seems like television has also found a liking for picturesque projects with a war backdrop. Sony Entertainment Television has released the first promo of its new offering – Prithvi Vallabh: Itihaas Bhi, Rahasya Bhi. The magnum opus is grander than what one would expect on the small screen. With its Baahubali feel, Prithvi Vallabh has a war backdrop.  The historical-fiction show stars Ashish Sharma and Sonarika Bhadoria in the lead roles. Ashish Sharma is an Indian film and television actor, who  is recognized for his roles as Lord Ram in the TV show Siya Ke Ram.  He is essaying the role of Prithvi Vallabh whereas Sonarika Bhadoria will be seen portraying  Mrinal.

Finally, the first look of Prithvi Vallabh – Itihaas Bhi Rashasya Bhi was unveiled after last night’s Kaun Banega Crorepati’s episode. The promo of Prithvi Vallabh starts with voice over which has an uncanny resemblance to Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s baritone voice. The voice tells the audience that all great kings become history but Prithvi Vallabh became a thought and still runs in India’s bloodstream. The first look assures Prithvi Vallabh to be a visual treat for the viewers. But the two minute trailer will many a times remind you of popular American fantasy drama ‘Game of Thrones’ and ‘Baahubali’.

Ashish looks hot flaunting his long mane and bulging biceps and  Sonarika Bhadoria  fits the bill of warrior princess Mrinal. Her beauty and perfect figure further complement her attire. Her role is similar to that of Anushka Shetty in Baahubali and Kareena Kapoor Khan in Ashoka. Sonarika’s sea green eyes have been captured nicely in the promo.  Helmed by Aniruddh Pathak, the show will talk about the life of the Rashtrakuta king. Prithvi Vallabh will launch sometime next month.
