Keerthy Suresh�s new look from the sets of Savitri�s biopic Mahanati

Mahanati, a bilingual biopic on legendary southern actor Savitri, is progressing at brisk pace in the direction of Nag Ashwin.  It is known news that young actress Keerthy Suresh is essaying the role of Savitri in this biopic  and  the story of this famous actress will be narrated by another pivotal character played by none other than Samantha Ruth Prabhu. Eyebrows were raised when Keerthy Suresh was picked to play the legendary actress’s character. The still from the shoot location gives a glimpse of Keerthy Suresh‘s look for the film. She looks like angle in this gate up. We feel Keerthy Suresh’s look as Savitri is up to the mark.

The first look of this film was unveiled with the original actress taking centre stage, with the two main leads - Keerthy Suresh and Samantha positioned on both sides on the occasion of Women’s day and   recently the look of Keerthy Suresh was also leaked on the social media which went viral.  But the  movie lovers were not  impressed by her deglam avatar. Now in this new still, she looks  gorgeous.Mahanati  will also star Dulquer Salmaan who will play Tamil star Gemini Ganeshan in this film. This film will mark his Telugu debut. Vijay Devarakonda of Pelli Choopulu fame and Shalini Pandey of Arjun Reddy fame are also the part of this  biopic.

According to Nag Aswin, there have been countless actresses over the last 80 years in Telugu cinema but none have earned the title of Mahanati, and even today it has solely been reserved for Savithri. It’ll be a magnum opus period film set in the golden era.
