Vijay Devarakonda, who is basking in the glory of his recently released movie ‘Arjun Reddy’, is now set to extend his market. He is all set to get a debut in the Kannada film industry soon, to increase his image in the neighbouring languages as well.
According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Vijay has been approached to play the lead role in remake of Pichaikkaran(Tamil) / Bichagadu (Telugu). The movie, which has collected crores in Tamil and Telugu industries, will be remade now in Kannada. The sources say that Vijay Devarakonda who knew Kannada language well, as he had his education in Puttaparthi, has accepted the offer. ‘Bichagadu’ Kannada remake will go on sets next year. The official confirmation is awaited regarding the same.
Bichagadu is an action thriller film directed by Sasi, in which Vijay Antony and Satna Titus played the lead role. The film became a big success at the box office, giving Vijay Antony a breakthrough in Tamil and Telugu.
On the otherside, currently Vijay Devarakonda is busy with a couple of projects and has nearly Six films his kitty right now. It may take two years to complete his present commitments. One project in Geetha Arts is said to be released in December.
