Pranitha will now be making her debut in Malayalam

Actress Pranitha Subhash, lately, hasn’t done much work in Tollywood and was last seen in Mahesh Babu’s Brahmotsvam. The actress has however been busy with her commitments in Kannada and Tamil. Pranitha, speaking to a leading daily, opened up about the offers that she has been getting in Telugu cinema and the kind of films she wants to do, when she was in the town recently.


“I have been busy travelling and shooting for Tamil and Kannada films. Moreover, I have been getting offers from Tollywood, but nothing has fascinated me. I want to be known for the body of work I do, rather than dwelling over the number of films I do,” Pranitha Subhash was quoted in a report in DC.


Pranitha also explains why she is happy with the kinds of roles she has been doing. “In my recent Kannada film Mass Leader, I played a housewife. I was happy to get a great response for my role. Similarly, in my upcoming Tamil film I play a happy-go-lucky person. I am glad that I am showing variations and not getting stereotyped, while working with other industries,” says Pranitha speaking about her recent roles.


Pranitha is one of the few actresses who has had the chance to work with top actors in South Indian cinema which includes Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, Jr NTR and Suriya. Pranitha will now be making her debut in Malayalam with Masterpiece which features Mammootty in the lead role. She also has Gaalipata 2 in her kitty which is currently under post-production.
